The Beginning...

I always love graphics and arts.

A good friend even teasingly suggested that I should change my profession to do more of what I like. I think what he meant was I should be a graphic designer or something like that. Well, what originally inspired me to be in this line of work was also due to the same passion towards arts. When I was interviewed by JPA’s officer back in 1986, “Why do you want to be an Architect?” I simply replied “I like to draw”. That’s it.

However, as my career began to take its own toll, up and down, here and there, the interest toward graphics, arts, design and drawing have somehow diverted to more towards ‘financial arts of surviving’. Straight to the point, now my work is giving me more financial stability than giving me more passion towards what I previously love to do. I’m thinking more for my future I guess. Hey…who knows about his future anyway?

I know there are a lot of people out there who successfully pursue their good life in both. They love their works very much and maintain happiness even if they are not getting paid for that…BUT some are really getting hefty stock in the bank.

My passion towards graphic and design is where the idea to start this new blog comes from…shadowed by my own slogan of Learning…Practicing…and Sharing.

I am still learning at a very intermediate level of Photoshop program but I will learn all the tricks and put the results in this blog. I narrow down the theme to Remember Allah…arts is in you. Why? Because we are the best creation. Where else to find the work of arts if not in our own selves.

The actual contents could be anything related to Islamic Arts. Anything in my head, I will put it on this blog to share. Depending on my free time though. Please feel free to comment.

All the good things that you may find in this blog are from Allah the Almighty and any weakness and shortcoming is from the ignorance of me.
